Do you want to join our team? We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
You will be acting as the main link between the office and the warehouse and ensuring that the operations of the business run smoothly between the two.
We are a small team based at our head office in Ipswich, but work with a large team of freelancers across the UK. Your management skills need to be adaptive to meet the range of employees and freelancers we have. Understanding what motivates them, what work environment they thrive in and how you can empower them to achieve their best.
Your knowledge of the events industry and temporary power will be needed when working with clients to pull together quotes for hires and ensuring the right equipment makes it to site. The hires range from a single cable hire to powering a festival. In all situations you will need to have a strong knowledge of the best hire products on offer to ensure they run a safe and efficient event or project.
You will need to be reactive to the fast-changing pace in our work environment. In some cases, temporary power is an organised and schedule service and in others it is responding to last minute demand. We need to provide the same level of customer service to all clients. It really is a job where no two days are the same and no day is like to be how you planned it.
We need to ensure that the work we carry out is done to the highest standard possible, it will be your responsibility to ensure that the work carried out is done in compliance with the current legislation including BS7909 and health and safety. Making sure we make changes to meet regulations, ensure that others are carrying out safety checks and equipment is of high and safe standard.
