The National Outdoor Event Association (NOEA) has confirmed five new sponsors for its Annual Convention & Awards, which will take place in November again later this year. The sponsors represent both previous supporters of the association and new brands looking to connect with NOEA’s growing membership and the continued success of its event programme.
Each of the companies will take title sponsorship of an award category, underlining the own brand values and belief in the importance of supporting events and event organisers at every level. This year NOEA will welcome back the People’s Postcode Lottery, who will support Small Event of the Year, Wasserman, for the DE&I Award, GL events, for Event of the Year – Private Sector, and ADIPS for Best Practice and Health & Safety Award. Meanwhile, Training 4 Resilience will continue their huge contributions to the NOEA community through their sponsorship of the Best Events Team award.
“We’re delighted to once again have the support of some of the biggest and most impressive brands in the outdoor events industry,” commented Susan Tanner, CEO, NOEA. “These companies represent global companies, specialists across infrastructure, training, and community, but who all share a joint care for the progression of the events industry and the people within it. We thank them for their continued and loyal support.”
“From the earliest days of GL’s support for NOEA, as their first Futures Sponsor, their passion for outdoor events and their care for the minutiae of event management shines through. The NOEA Convention and Awards continues to be the ‘go to’ event whether you’re a first-time organiser or an old timer and we are delighted to continue to support them,” added Rachel Baker, GL Events.
Meanwhile, Cris Cicirello, Senior Vice President, Wasserman, London, commented: “As regards DE&I specifically, we are glad to be able to continue our support and back up the commitment that we made some years ago, to making our industry more diverse and inclusive. It is on all of us to better represent society and to do the right thing for ourselves and our clients.”
The association’s newest supporter, Bev Osborne, Trainaing4Resilience, added: “NOEA is a supportive, welcoming, and inclusive association that looks after all of its members, both small and large, from all aspects of the event industry. It brings together the best of the Outdoor Events Sector to support and learn from one another, and to develop and ensure best practice. We are proud to be members of NOEA and truly value the knowledge and friendship that the association brings to us all.”
“It’s been an excellent start to the year for NOEA, alongside our supporters and Premium Partners we’re already taking the positives from our convention and widening our educational influence through our partnerships with EXPERIENCEit and Event Production Show,” concluded Susan Tanner. “This support allows us to do more for members and make a real impact for the wider events industry It’s a really positive sign for 2024.”
