Winners – Best Digital Training Series
The Square Metre Group is thrilled to announce its 2020 programme of Lockdown Webinars have been awarded the title of Best Digital Training Series at the Digital Event Awards 2021. The business, which received the title from judges ahead of a number of competitors, led a highly successful crowd safety training webinar series during the first UK lockdown last year. The programme consisted of 10 different sessions led by crowd safety industry experts and was attended by people from around the world. The purpose of the events was to provide free online Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions that anyone across the globe could access to learn about crowd safety.
Nominees for the Best Digital Training Series were companies who had delivered a series of digital training courses dedicated to a specific audience or sector. It recognised the strength of content and education over a number of sessions as well as audience engagement, repeat attendees and feedback. The Square Metre Group picked up the accolade at an online awards ceremony held on Thursday 18th March 2021. The judging panel were clearly impressed by the team’s efforts, saying the series achieved “incredible numbers” and that it managed to, “engage with attendees on a truly international scale”.
In a statement on the winners page of Digital Event Awards website, one judge commented, “I especially liked the way these webinars tried to help people grow their networks. I’m sure this was a great benefit to attendees and as event organisers trying to replicate live experiences, it’s encouraging to see what’s possible in the digital environment”.
