The Conservative Party Manifesto includes “Urgently introduce Martyn’s Law, in tribute to Martyn Hett, who was tragically killed alongside 21 others in the Manchester Arena terrorist attack in 2017. This will ensure premises are better prepared for terrorist attacks by requiring them to take proportionate steps to mitigate risks”

The Labour Party Manifesto includes “Bring in ‘Martyn’s Law’ to strengthen the security of public events and venues.”

The Green Party Manifesto does no mention Martyn’s Law but says “Exempt cultural events, including everything from theatre and museum tickets to gigs in local pubs, from paying VAT.”

The Liberal Party Manifesto does not appear to include anything that might be relevant to Outdoor Events and at the time of writing, (18 June) the Reform Party manifesto has not been published.
