The Hosts and Federations Summit 2024, delivered by Major Events International, will be taking place in the Olympic Capital of Lausanne in Switzerland from the 17th to the 20th June 2024. This will be the place to meet the likes of the IOC, UCI, Formula E and FISU to name just a few of the many International sporting federations, who will be looking to share knowledge and best practices.
As well as this some 20 Host Cities and 100 Venue suppliers will be in attendance looking to meet event organisers. To make this process as easy as possible MEI are providing the opportunity of facilitated 1-2-1 meetings across the Summit. Once you have booked your ticket, this involves getting in touch with one of the MEI team and letting them know your targets, who you want to sit down and discuss collaborations, partnerships and hosting opportunities with. Once they have this list, they will organise the time and place at the Summit where you will meet your prospective client, they will then provide follow up services post Summit to offer support where needed.
1-2-1 meetings are not the only networking opportunity available to delegates in 2024. Across the 3 days there will be a number of drinks receptions and the annual Gala Dinner, where you can sit down in a relaxed environment in the Olympic Museum. All while enjoying a 3 course dinner overlooking Lake Geneva, while you sit next to the key decision makers from around the world.
